ABOUT US Christina Papazian, Chef - Owner, At age 12, Christina Papazian had her first food epiphany. She was given her first cookbook, she scratch baked popovers for family members, she created cheesecakes that she sold to Chesapeake Bay Bridge customers. She was hooked. Her lifelong passion for creating food that pleased her customers started at that time and has shaped her culinary career ever since. Christina’s culinary style has been influenced by her ethnic family, by growing up in and experiencing the cultures of Greece, Italy, Spain, Germany as well as the US. She can still smell peppers being roasted over an open pit from the farm down the dirt road in Italy, the apricot trees in her backyard, and stealing blood oranges while walking home from a day at the sea. She has formalized her culinary training at Schoolcraft College through her Baking and Pastry Certificate and she will complete the Culinary Program in 2009. Along with her 5-year old daugher and 11-year old son, she participates in a CSA, which shares in her value of working with whole foods and eating foods in the season in which they grow. Let Chef Christina cook for you, cook with you, and help you achieve your food epiphany!
